So does Ed call Iguodala's agent and say, "Yeah, about that demand of 5 years/$65MIL... yeah, we're gonna have to pass. I think I have an offer that just might interest you... 5 years, $57MIL."

No, I was out grocery shopping, came home and clicked on ESPN to check out their summer league blog and caught the breaking Clips news right after it was posted.  My home computer sucks for webcasts and I can't watch them at work.  I will have a new 17" laptop in time for the regular season GDT's though.

Before anyone else does it, I checked and Reggie Evans plus Willie Green plus Andre Miller works in a trade for Iverson on the trade machine.  Not gonna happen, but now I have checked so nobody else has to.

As much as I think it was time for AI to move on... I'm on board with Miller, Evans, and Green for AI. I have a feeling Denver wouldn't like that all that much.

By the way, Denver's biggest downfall this past season was what? Defense, right? So I'm glad to see that they traded their first round pick, didn't sign any FAs, and traded their best defender away for a 2nd pick and a trade exception that the owner most likely will not use due to the luxury tax.

Portland is going to make the playoffs this season and out of the 8 Western Conference Playoff teams, Denver has to be the most likely to not make it.
