I'm not really worried. DBodner can just boot off posters if they fall out of line.  Its usually pretty obvious when things get out of hand.

Unlike the other boards, this place is not ad driven or out to make money.  It does not need to build up to a large base of posters regardless of if they are pricks.

I just think it would be good to add some more voices.  If you want to invite someone from other board and you are unsure, just IM on of us and we can decide if will be a problem.  There are a few posters at Philafans that should not be here, but the time its common sense.  As long as no one is trying to be an ass, its easy enough to just avoid a confrontation if you know you can't keep things civil.  The problem at Philaphans are the people who are only posting for a chance to fight.

Back to the original roll call thread...  I just emailed a list to TGP and DBodner of realgm posters who signed up here but don't post regularly.  Its a long list.  I was thinking we should try and build up the membership here.  What are your thoughts?

BTW, I IM'd Sundown- he said he would check it out.

As long as the people we invite then don't invite other people we don't want here.  I've had my fights with Philaphans posters in the past who have since migrated here (namely one, who I will not name), but I've been trying not to fly off the handle again.  We just need to make sure this board doesn't turn into a new RealGM or Philaphans board.

How YOU doing :)

You know it is a different kind of board with RickyP in the house and he's defending Sam and asking for them to pass to him for a last second shot, at least sort of.    ;D

It's not you jem, don't worry.  We may not have always agreed, but at least you generally support your posts with legitimate reasoning.  At least Mr.V ain't here.

Its not people that I picked.  Its a list of about 20 realgm posters who have already registered here back when this place was set up as an alternative board for the draft (because RealGM usually crashes on draft day.)  A lot of the people are good posters that I have not heard from for a while on either board.

Yes, they looked a little creepy to be truthful.

Of course, you can't get in and out of my hometown without going through one or more of those metropolises.  Of course, these days I prefer to see them in my rearview mirror.
