I feel like we should be sitting around a campfire singing "Kumbaya".

That's what I meant. If you say "I think oranges are juicy and quite delicious"

And I answer with "No. Oranges have never been juicy or delicious"

There really isn't anywhere to go unless I explain myself.

(And by the way....oranges ARE juicy and delicious and I'll fight anybody who says otherwise!)

Don't worry, if this palace gets to you just spend a few hours "discussing" Iguodala at RealGm and it will make you feel better.

But I have facts to support the statement that oranges were NEVER juicy nor delicious.

I actually started discussing Igoudala with my Mom's 3 year old neighbor instead of at Realgm...it's more objective...just as intelligent and he usually has popsicles to share.

Not to get all "gossipy" but does anyone have a clue as to how old SendEm is? He seems like someone my age (around 30) but at the same time, his antics and way of talking to people is just completely ridiculous. Anyone know? I'm simply curious is all.

And anyone who trumps one opinion with another, but states it as fact! That just kills threads

It only kills threads if there's no reasoning backing up either side.  You can't argue if there's nothing to argue against.

Oh and jem: I'll keep my trade ideas to the philaphans board then  ;D

I don't mind trade suggestions in principle, but some of the monkeys over at realgm would suggest 5 or 6 a day.  And asinine trades that were so lopsided it was pathetic but they 'worked under the trade checker' so it would pop up there...I always thought a revision (very complicated one) to the trade checker that somehow evaluated the talent in a trade as well would be nice and if your trade was woefully lopsided (like lebron james for willie green and reggie evans) you'd be banned from the trade checker

I think you're right on TGP....probably our age (I'm 31), but just really self-righteous. I always thought one of these guys who got a real high paying job out of college and never really got humbled by the real world

(I know...lots of speculation...but he kind-of reminds me of a guy I know...and that's HIS situation, so I transfer)

I don't think he even believes half of the crap he says.  If he isn't Ricky he is his also evil twin.  This post from earlier today pretty much should have ended all offseason discussions going forward:

Brand
Okafor
Josh Smith
Josh Childress
Iggy
Maggette
Hinrich
B Diddy

How is it possible that all of the players this offseason that are being seriously discussed as potential Sixer acquisitions have not a single championship ring amongst them? I don't see any of those players as a fit.

I mean, why do people even respond to him on that stuff.  Unfortunately since the RealGM upgrade I have had trouble finding the ignore function over there.  That makes threads a lot longer.

I've ignored him, but I'm always opening his stuff because so many people resond to him and I never know where the discussion is starting. He's hard to just "ignore" as he takes over so many threads

I never really made my way over to RealGM because all useful info found it's way to Philaphans and my IQ dropped like 1 pps for every second I was on there.

Is Philaphans that much better than Realgm?
