Well if that's the case, then max it out in the first year and just have smaller decreases in years 2-6. It'll still help.

Looking at D. Howards max deal, you could do something like this to get to 75M:

13/14.4/13.6M/13M/11M/10M

Quick, chop off a couple of mil and send this off to Ed and Pelinka.  Let's get this done.

That's a crazy contract! :-)

I mean it both in the sense of "man, it's crazy that it goes up and down" but I'm also saying, "Wow, a SG who can't consistently make a shot outside of 16 feet is really going to get all of that dough".

It's that 6th year at 15M that seems so out of whack.  The 1st 5 years don't seem that bad.

I like easy math, give him 6 yrs at $72 million, and pay a flat $12 milloin per year.  As an incentive he gets an extra million each yer we reach the finals.  Done.

LOL! I like it and I'm on board.

TK- It seems like we're slowly but surely taking back the board over on realgm. It seems to be coming back to the way they way during the season minus HWMNBN. Am I wrong?

It's much better than it was.  It has its good days and its bad days- should be interesting in the regular season, becasue a ton of "lifelong Sixers Fans" will be coming out of the woodwork now that the team is relevant again.

I also think a lot of the AI fans who followed him to become Denver fans, will suddenly again be Sixer fans.

Its definitely good to have this place as a retreat either way.

I'm sort of stuck the last few nts hoping for news- life's been a bit dull with the wife out of town (can you tell I'm whipped?)

Otherwise is just reading about living Singapore- still not sure if the new job will be worth the jump- if I make it past the short list.  Cool life experience vs crazy expensive housing and year round Philly in August heat.

Singapore??? Wow.... that is a serious jump. The Mrs. being away seems like a great idea (and usually is) but I found that the house gets pretty damn dull after 2 or 3 days.

Currently day 5 and bachlordom has lost its luster- and tomorrow is "clean up day" before reunification Friday.

I told you, don't hide it.... flaunt it. Seriously, she'll either never leave you alone again or she'll just flat out leave you. Either way, you'll test your marriage and find out what it's made of. :-)

Thanks for the free marriage counseling- I'll have to keep it in mind...

Lots of articles about ron-Ron and Chairman Yao already having a little tiff.  Artest already starting up the crazy path with some of his comments now that he has the limelight.  The entertainment value alone in Houston this year will be priceless.

And in other news, there is no other news.

And Yao wasn't exactly welcoming in the article I read if it was translated properly...
