Rich owners kind of crack me up.
On the one hand, they go hat in hand to some players, like Corliss Williamson, to personnally woo them to resign with the team, then let Petrie trade him for Christie later. They resign Webber to the biggest contract outside of LA, then can't resign players like Jimmy Jackson and Mobley because they realyzed that the League actually was serious about that luxury tax payment.
They just keep passing the mistakes of other owners around the League like so many Vegas poker chips.
