Damnit, Charley Rosen approves of the Brand signing.  I have a sick fascination with reading his column and hate agreeing with him.  I do love the part about Brand lifting some of the burden off of Iggy and Willie Green (Charley absolutely loves him some Willie, and not just the one attached to Phil Jackson):

That's now my desktop TGP.

And hey, the guy just brought Elton Brand to Philly.  He gets almost no mug time during the season.  He should get however much mug time he wants, he has already proved he's one of the top GMs in the NBA.

I also loved all the not-so-subtle digs at LAC management at the PC.

ESPN is now reporting that Brand didn't get $82MIL but $79.795MIL. That would be only a little more than $1MIL more than what Milwaukee just agreed to pay Andrew Bogut.

Sterling deserves to constantly have a crappy team, he is a turd of an owner.

But when Thad is beasting it up at age 30, Bogut might be the better player- or at least it would be close (age 39 vs 33 maybe I still take Brand.)

Well, I think that about wraps up the Brand chat for me. I'm analyzed, dissected, and inspected every plus and minus about him. Now it's time to really focus on Dre and LouWill.
