Attribute it to rust, they were off for a whole week. Defense was solid, Parker was amazing, the Spurs will win in 5 games.
Lebron is the real deal, guy has NO supporting cast. Maybe Gibson can give him that second scorer that he needs, but the Cavs need another All Star to win consistently in this league.
Dissapointed the Spurs didn't "black out" the arena. Why white tee's?

Historically, I don' think we will be known as one of the most dominant teams of this era. And sorry Laker fans, not of the "softest" either. Most successful...absolutely, were the most successful franchise of ANY major league sport right now.

Throw in winning a world title EVERY OTHER year, that tells me BAD ARSE! All of the even years could easily have been repeats too. Take away Fishers .4; Manu's foul on Nowitski in Game 7, and we could have a back to back

I think the Spurs will let Lebron get his 40, they just won't let anybody else get theirs.
On the flipside, what makes this an interesting series is the SA connection that Cleveland has. Ferry and Brown both know Pops system in detail, he may just cause the Spurs some fits. Spurs are favored and the better team...then again, so were the Mavs against Golden State!

Actually felt bad for Utah.
There was a debate on the SA Sports talk shows on whether to boo Fish when he entered the arena. Some callers actually called in to say they think we should. "We have to have Manus back." Good think the majority of callers thought we should cheer him when he entered the building. Shows there are idiots in every city.

Outstanding game by the phoenix Suns last night. At least for 3 and a half quarters.
The Suns thoroughly kicked the Spurs arse last night, but they stepped up when it counted, and the Suns clearly stepped down at the same time. Could have been exaustion, or as I think, clutch plays by the Spurs down the stretch. Shame that any highlight of this game is followed by "but the Suns were down two of their best players." If the Suns ever want to get where the Spurs level, they are going to have to take que from coach Popovich, and play through. You don't hear much finger pointing coming from the Spurs after a loss, they just deal with it.

I disagree. I hate to see such a competitive series be derailed because the league uses a blanket ruling and suspends two players for just "reacting" to a play. It woulD have been different if they were too have run onto the court, but they did not get involved, and should not have been suspended.
This very well, could be the NBA championship, and to see such a good series tarnished bothers me as a basketball fan...not just a Spurs fan.

Dennis Johnson's Celtics provided me with my first memorable NBA memory. The stolen pass at the end of regulation, that sweet steal and layup, that solidified my love for the NBA.
Actually...
My first NBA memory was my Dad taking me to a Spurs game. I remember sitting in the old Convention Center arena, looking up at the rafters and watching all the basic trainee's in their blues. And watching a Cleveland Cavs game, and wondering, who the hell is this guy called "World B Free."

In a way, I feel bad for Hardaway. He is certainly entitled to his own opinion, and it's just sad that he is getting so much airplay over a silly comment he made over a small radio show. It's how he felt. It's not how I feel, I'm cool with gay people, I'm comfortable in my sexuality, so it dosen't bother me, but that dosent mean I expect him to feel like me.
I'm wondering if he's going to be the next guy in line that has to go "rehab" for saying the wrong thing. This PC thing is crap!

Yep, its so obvious. Mysteriously, her only heir dies when the baby is born. After a quickie marriage, the only one stopping him from getting the millions is Anna Nicole. And he's a lawyer, I'm sure the paper trail is well established on his part. That scum. The one that totally loses credibility with me is Entertainment Tonight. I hate the way they are lapping up their exclusive footage, ti makes me sick.
