What it is to watch Timberwolves basketball

Your team opens at home against the Tyreke Evans-less Kings, and your best player notches a double-double *at halftime*.

Your team goes on a run in the 2nd half while your best player rides the pine, but when the run stops, and your team is desperate for a bucket or an offensive rebound, your best player stays on the bench.  "Stellar" defenders such as Michael Beasley - who isn't doing anything offensively - remain on the court.

Final score: Kings 117, Wolves 116.

There is no excuse for that.  None whatsoever.  Especially not after Milicic and Beasley both made some terrible, panicky plays underneath.   All they had to do was come down with the ball and put it back.  Instead they tried off balance put backs.

And to take Love out of the equation (so that I don't sound like his dad moaning and groaning), Rambis' substitution patterns are mind-boggling.

I don't think hes over matched or dumb.  I think he hasn't been the coach of this team in a regular season for any length of time.  I expect his rotations and substitution patterns to get better through the course of the year.
