Heat had the game in the bag but the Lakers win it on a last second 3 pointer by Kobe!!!  :o :o :o :o

Not sure if Kobe called "bank"....

Don't know if he called bank but he made sure he wasn't going to come up short like he did on some of the other shots. 

Lakers played like crap and still got a W, pretty happy about that!

And played like crap, AGAIN!!! LOL!

The cliche that you never give a good player the same shot twice applies here.  I can't believe they didn't deny him the ball AND let him get to that spot 1 on 1.

Funny Andrew Bogut made that comment when he clearly traveled towards the end of regulation for a 3 point play.  They would have lost in regulation had it not been for that gift.  He's right, honesty is not cool anymore.

That's irrelevant in what we are talking about.  Andrew was upset because he thought Kobe should have been called for a charge.  Instead he got a 3 point play.  My reply had to do with the fact that Andrew got the same 'gift' in regulation but seems to not want to be 'honest' about that.

Obviously a super star gets more calls than some guy like Bogut.  That doesn't negate the fact that he traveled at the end of regulation but ended up with a 3 point play.

But that's the inherent problem, not just the microcosm of one game, but the bigger problem within the NBA - and if you ever talk about it - you're fined...period...and everyone knows it exists no matter how many times Stern denies it.

What we are discussing in this thread is based on 'one game'.  The thread is not about 'The favoritism of the league towards all-star players' in general.  If you want to rant and discuss this, make another thread so everyone will join in.

Very worthless.  A nice big glaring flaw with this team that I am hoping gets set straight before the playoffs come.  I am not holding my breath though.
