Had a lot of trouble with the 8th seed, what's going to happen when they meet a an experienced team like the Spurs Kings or Lakers.  Garnett's constant barking is getting on my nerves, and watching Latrine Sprewell go off on players and fans just wants me to root against the Wolves.

GO SACRAMENTO!!

Puuullleeezzee....  read the effing quotes from Carmelo and Barry before you start making these comments.   Watch Chris Andersen preen his hair after scoring.

Say, has Bruce Bowen or Kevin Willis injured anyone lately there Mr. Class?

That was a classic game.  Most intense playoff game I've seen in the past two years.

Totally classless move by Spreewell after the game was over.  Spreewell starts yelling at the Denver bench AFTER the game was over and AFTER he missed TWO critical FT's.  What a choker!  Can't wait to see them get bounced out of the playoffs this year, I've also grown tired of Spree/Sam/KG big mouths.  At least the Wolves are out of the first round, but that will probably be it for them.

Carmelo said the Wolves franchise would probably fold if they lost.  Barry, in spite of the absence of any dismissive quotes from the Wolves, started in on the "they don't respect us" crap and said he was excited now that "the talk was starting in the papers" even though he and Carmelo wer the only ones doing any talking.

You're just getting sick of Sam's talking now? Only a decade late.

I agree on Spree.  Given the talking and styling coming from Denver I have no problem with some trash during the game but AFTER?  Grow up.

Very true.  Barry and Melo were talking like they were an expierenced playoff team loaded with talent.  Sorry but you cannot play Phil Jackson-like mind games when your team is less talented, has less playoff expierence, and is going up against vets like Spree, Cassell, and Garnett.

Which brings me to my next mindless AM pretend like im working babble.....Last night (and for most of the season) it has been so obvious to most of us who actually pay attention to details that this team did not make the playoffs cuz of just Melo.  I am real sick of hearing about how Melo got them to the playoffs and Melo did this.  Last night it was everyone but Melo getting it done.  Again...Camby, Barry, Leonard, and a few others were playing their hearts out.  All while Melo decided he was MJ and started trying to do it all himself.  What did he managed to do in the first half?  Get a T, miss a bunch of shots, and allow the Wolves to push them away from what they were doing so well in the begging.  When will the rest of the team get credit for this season seriously?

As for Bowen....No matter what Spurs fans (real or front runner) say Bowen gets away with alot of hand checking and bodying up on defensive players.  Im suprised no one else brought this up during the Grizz series.  Last I checked you are not allowed to use your hands on the offensive player 25 feet from the rim when they are about to make a move.

I couldn't believe all the shots Melo jacked up.  A TRUELY great player, heck even a GOOD player, would have taken it to the rack and got layups or FT's.  One of the most bashed players this year has been Chris Webber YET he knew enough to take it to the rim when the game was on the line DESPITE his problems at the FT line.  I'm also tired of Melo getting all the credit for the Nuggets turn around.  If anything, Lenard and Camby where the ONLY reason the Nuggets where in the game.

All that being said, that was the best playoff game I've seen in over two years.  The intensity was reminicent of the Lakers/Celtics, Pistons/Celtics, Knicks/Miami, Bulls/Knicks, Bulls/Pistons, Pistons/Lakers....well you get the picture.  Yes it was only one game but it was great to see that type of competitiveness after the blah blah years of Lakers and Spurs.

Considering the talent level and comparing their seasonal records, the Nuggets should not even be competing with the Wolves. That the Wolves find it necessary to act like a bunch of a**holes while clearly being the superiorly talented team just destroyed any image of sportsmanship this franchise ever had. I don't recall any of the teams that vanquished the Wolves in the first round the last seven years ever saying close to the crap these guys are, or acting like this after winning a game.

The Nuggets may lose this series but will come out the bigger winners as the Wolves have now put a target on their backs.
