I didn't say it was impossible, but I do think it's fairly rare.  Even good defenders (a la Kyle Lowry) get picked on because of the defensive mismatch they have most of the time.

(it also helps for Parker to have Duncan and Rondo KG behind them).

The difference between 6' and 6'2"-6'3" is huge for a pg.

They guy is not even 6', he's been listed at 5'11" until the draft.

He measured in at 6'0.5" at the pre-draft combine.  Those are typically the #'s the nba officially uses.

I think I need to go back and update that list of Tarheels in NBA Finals again.

Unfortunately, there weren't any this year.  And haven't been, the way they were a few years ago.

I hate to say this, especially given the fact that the Tarheels are my favorite college team, but they're not churning out the players for the NBA the way they did when Dean Smith was the coach.  Right now, UConn might be the best at turning out pros.  Over Smith's history, though, nobody did it better.

Spurs Blair is down to 274 pounds with 8% body fat.

Looked great in his 1st summer league game.  5 rebounds in like 5 minutes.  Bowling ball.

Actually it was 5 rebounds in his first 6 minutes.  And 10 for the game.  But then what use are facts in RealityWorld.

Lurker, do they televise the summer league games for the Spurs?  I know the Clippers and Lakers are going at it in Vegas but I have not seen any TV listings for their games.

Why does the board seem sooooooooooooooooo much better lately?  ;D

No, the games aren't televised.  You can get the Vegas games online through NBA.com but I think it costs.  I just read the ESPN take, the local news, the local paper and a couple blogs which all reported the "correction" I posted for Reality.
