You guys still looking forward to the Celtics and Cavs game?
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:06:23 PM »
I'm still going to watch it but Boston has not held up their side of the bargin in making this the 2nd most anticpated matchup this year thus far.  The expecation was the Celtics were supposed to come in at 34 and 3 with a shot at snapping the Cavs unbeaten streak at home.  Now the Celtics are comming in ridding a three game losing streak.

IMO this could make the game even better, if the Celts are going to get out of this funk, what better way to do that than to spank the "Celtic-killers" of the East.  It could also turn out that there are major problems in the Celtics organization and its' going to be a long game for the Celts.

I am.  Especially considering that John Hollinger predicted the Cavs are going to win it all.  If that is the case they need to prove they can beat the Celtics and this would be the first step in showing them they have improved (or maybe the Celtics are fading).

Besides, what other more interesting games are on anyways?

I guess Rondo can now admit they are in a slump, what a spanking.

Finally got to watch the game on DVR.

The Celtics need to shore up their bench or they will not survive the season let alone the playoffs.

The Cavs roster is nothing to be impressed by BUT the effort they put in is incredible.  IMO they are the best team in the league right now.

If LeBron plays the way he played in that game on both ends of the court for the rest of the season, heck I'd say the rest of the month actually, he is clearly the best player in the NBA.
