Actually in the final minute of LA-Boston i was wondering if the Celts were preserving the line by not even attempting to get a shot up early in the shot clock. Instead they passed it around, passed up the op for a trey. Strange. Or maybe not so much.
Very nice assists by Kobster on his last couple passes to Gasol. When Kobster was dribbling around, the Cs thought it was the Old Kobster who would continue to ballhog and hork up some Jordan wannabe off balance shot. Instead, Kobes did what Phil has been trying to get him to do for years, draw the double and pass. Nice passes by Kobes, Celtics took the bait hook line and sinker.
Gasol got a huge monkey temporarily off his back.
A momentum changer was the length of the court pass Boston attempted. Azirah slammed into the Celtic "reciever" to knock the ball lose, then went out of bounds, came back in and tipped the ball to a fellow Flamer. Pass interference all the way.
The Celts will still pound the Flamers in a Finals series.
