I read about it as well but the article was titled "Former NBA Star", no offense but I didn't think he was a star.  This story was on the heels of the Tisdale news that has been widely covered.

Widely covered? Dang, then I wasted the next post?  :-\

Yeah, Rogers had some solid years but definitley not a star.  In fact he probably underachieved some years because he didn't always keep his weight down.

Yeah, Rogers had some solid years but definitley not a star.  In fact he probably underachieved some years because he didn't always keep his weight down.

I saw two TV specials about him last week and he was on the front page of ESPN.com.

They played one special before the Lakers game on the local TV station then I saw it again on ESPN durring one the ESPN basketball games.
