Change Draft Date?
« on: October 19, 2008, 11:54:27 AM »
There are currently two people who are unable to attend the draft.  It appears yahoo is no longer inforcing an abitrary limit of how many leagues can draft on a given day, so we can select any date/time.  I'd only change the draft at this point if we can get confirmation that all parties can attend (or, at least, all parties that can make the 25th draft, plus at least one who couldn't).

Anybody have any good days?  What about sunday the 26th?  I have to be on a plane at night, so it would have to be before, say, 3 pm eastern)?  Monday the 27th?

We can even start the league a week later and have the draft the weekend after the season starts, although we'd miss out on a week of scoring.

As one of the people (probably) unable to attend the draft as it currently stands, Sunday would be much better ... and the earlier Sunday the better.  I would almost CERTAINLY be able to attend on Sunday, if, as you say, it's before 3 o'clock EDT.

I can do it.

For me weekends are better, mostly because I have a coastal issue, a 'prime time' east coast start during the week usually keeps me at work, and I've never really liked auto-draft in general

I can not participate on a weekday.  Sat or Sun is fine by me.

Sunday morning (PST) is better for me actually.  I tend to be sitting on my couch watching sports anyways.

Sunday's bad (ish) for me. Depends on the time. I'm usually busy the first half of the day.

Saturday is much better.

Ted, can you define first half?

If Ted can't, we'll stick with Saturday.  It sounds like during the week is out, so Sunday's our only hope.

If we keep on Saturday, is there any way to move the start time an hour or two earlier?  That would help me out a lot.  If not, I can't say whether I'll make it.

Both Sat and Sunday are kind of bad for me (unless we did it earlier in morning on either . . .). I'm gonna be on the road. So whatever . . .
