More Olympic b.s. hypocrisy
« on: August 12, 2008, 12:40:06 PM »
http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/beijing/blog/fourth_place_medal/post/The-Chinese-pulled-a-Milli-Vanilli-during-the-Op?urn=oly,100162
In a Milli Vanilli style move, the Chinese swapped the little girl with the great singing voice but buck teeth in favor of the sterotypical "cute" girl.

The little girl who sang it and her parents might care.  I know i care.  I'm guessing that ziggy cares, WoW mmmight care, Randee would care, esp with his singing background.  Skandery will care.  JoeV might care.  Dabods is probably neutral.  jemagoo will feign not caring, but i think he really cares.  Jomal is unaware.

I thought it was newsy.

wow, somebody stop the games!!  this is a trave-sham-ockery!!
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

The games already were a trave-shame-ockery...they're in china for chrissakes and all NBC can do is praise the nation of china for all they've accomplished...

oh and as for the parents of the 'replaced' singer, they probably don't care TOO MUCH being as the state let her daughter live and all

It will come back to haunt China when all those athletes and tourists go home to discover they got lead poisoning from their visit to China...

While it's not a big deal why is it every 2 days there is a story that comes out that China has been hiding something or masking what they are doing?

First it was the fireworks, then it was the little girl singing, then it was the 14 year old gymnists, and now I am hearing reports of the Chinese mass rounding up protestors and people who oppose the government to keep them from getting their voice heard on a national stage....

Maybe they should unjustly invade a country with tons of oil reserves to take attention away from all this NEGATIVE publicity.

You guys should all just STFU already.

Bush Oil Company demanding the Ruskies stop pushing into Georgia.  ::)

The same Georgia who admittedly did a sneak attack on the Ruskies, prompting the response.
