Obviously some time off has helped sharpen your wit, WOW.  If only your baiting skills could improve...

I'm not being a smart arse or anything,

Now THAT would be news...     ;D

but is there a difference between baiting and just a little bit of smack talk?  I'm not looking to piss you off or anything, honestly that is NEVER my intent, I just really like trading insults because sometimes some of you guys make me laugh.

I wasn't pissed at all.  In fact I thought the line about the Spurs off season moves was witty.  hence my comment on your sharpened wit.  The weak kneed chumming of the waters was softer than the Lakers frontline without Bynum.

For all the WEAK stuff Reality throws out there I talk to the guy all the time and exchange emails on a variety of subjects, I honestly just like to bust balls and get my balls busted.  Just don't talk shiznit about Kobe!  He is da bomb!

So the article was all about Kobe visiting SA.  That should help keep Reality busy with photoshopping Kobe into all the San Antonio tourist spots wearing a Spurs jersey.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

I've always felt to 'talk smack' you need two sides of the argument, hence it's inherently baiting the 'other side'?

Not sure what kind of masochist you are that enjoys getting your balls busted, but i suggest you find one of those nice shrewish gold digging Los ANgeles girls and marry her...she'll bust your balls and your will to live all in one.

YEAH!! go get your ball bustin fix somewhere else!!!

and stop bustin mine....they are hurt...  :'(

I had heard that he sealed it up when the Dow went down 250+ points yesterday morning. The automatic locks aren't programmed to release until his mainframe, which will constantly search the Web, confirms that gold has passed $2000/ounce and that the Greater Depression has ended with the armistice that will end WW3 resulting in the utter destruction of the murderous imperialist nation once known as the United States of America.

I've never heard anyone's bathroom skills so eloquently stated.

WOW apparent DID marry one. I have seen the results and he carries his balls around in a thimble. And they STILL rattle around in there.

That's why Lakers/Sp*rs smalk talk is fun, both teams have kicked each others behinds.  That's also the reason Sixers smalk talk is an oxymoron (throw the SaclessMental Queens in that catagory as well).

La-Queer phallacy!!!

I thought the story was funny, I have also been reaing that the Spurs have made some office moves, they lost three top execs in recent weeks.  not sure if they left on good terms or if fired, but from what has been said it looks like they were asked to leave.  I wonder what the reason for the change was.

They no longer could fit in the Coyote costume?

From what you have posted here so far, have you noticed an undue amount of earwax buildup?

No, no, no JoMal....his problem is he thought those holes were pencil sharpeners.  I don't really want to be the one to break the news to him......since you have such a "way" with people.....hmmm.....can you handle that for his sake?

Just to keep the board up to date with official info, yes in addition to the contract extension he recently signed, dipstick Pop got a promotion of sorts along with the organizational rearrangements.  This should ensure the Tim Duncan era and any chances at a repeat or 3 of 4 will continue to be squandered away.  Here are the details.

SAN ANTONIO, July 15, 2008 ? Spurs Sports & Entertainment announced today that Rick Pych has been promoted to president of business operations and Gregg Popovich was named President of Spurs basketball in addition to serving as head coach. Additionally, R.C. Buford has been promoted to president of sports franchises and will continue as Spurs general manager.

?Through the leadership and guidance of Rick Pych, Gregg Popovich and R. C. Buford, Spurs Sports & Entertainment has thrived and excelled both within the organization and throughout our community,? said Holt. ?Their insight, passion and commitment to this organization have made Spurs Sports & Entertainment a true model of sports leadership and success.?

All business operations for Spurs Sports & Entertainment will now be led by Rick Pych. In his new role, he will oversee the marketing, sales, finance, communications and corporate development for the organization?s business initiatives. Pych has been with the franchise 15 years, most recently as executive vice president of finance & corporate development. He led the franchise through the development and construction of the AT&T Center as well as the organization?s overall strategic planning and its financial positioning.

As a result of his many successes with the team, Gregg Popovich has been promoted to president of Spurs basketball as well as continuing as the team?s head coach. In 11 seasons as head coach, Popovich has led the Spurs to four NBA titles and is one of five coaches in NBA history with four-or-more championships. He owns a career regular season record of 632-302, and a career winning percentage of .677 which ranks third in NBA history.

As president of sports franchises, Buford will continue to handle all the general manager duties for the Spurs and additionally will oversee the sports administration of SS&E?s other franchises; the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars, the AHL San Antonio Rampage, and the NBA D-League Austin Toros. Buford has worked on the Spurs basketball operations staff since 1994 and was promoted to general manager in July of 2002.

Holt added, ?Rick, Pop and R.C. have been at the forefront of our franchise, leading SS&E to immeasurable success. Their promotions are truly deserved and together they will lead SS&E to even greater accomplishments as we continue to grow.?

The organization also announces the promotion of Lawrence Payne to executive vice president of corporate partnerships and broadcasting. Payne has been with SS&E for over three decades and has been instrumental in building the business successes of the organization over the years. His new responsibilities will include overseeing community relations outreach and in-game entertainment in addition to corporate partnerships and broadcasting.

Additionally, Lori Warren has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and corporate administration. Warren who was has been with the franchise for 15 years, most recently as vice president of finance, will assume the additional responsibilities of human resources and corporate administration to her current duties.

?We are fortunate to have a depth of talent within our organization that can build on our past successes and blaze new paths into the future,? stated Holt. ?We will be doing that with greater focus and optimism toward new opportunities. We are excited!?

Seems only fitting since TD, Manu and Parker are Kobe's "bittys".
