Still a bit of a longshot, but its definitely on the mind.  I just have to watch what I say- its stricter than posting on this board.  Here you get banned, there you get caned  :-[.

Oh, and I would just be caring for rich ex-pats, which does not exactly equate to being paid like them- although we would be comfortable.  I don't know how expensive it is over there.

Didn't Diogu already get moved?

He went to Portland in the Rush-Westbrook draft night deal, IIRC.  Good news, it means Channing "Charmin" Frye may be even more available (if that's possible).

My job actaully is not the most portable.  I'm a pediatrician.  My wife is an academic, so she is always itching to move.  I'm also getting a bit frustrated with healthcare delivery in the U.S.

Good pediatricians are hard to find, and yes US health care blow bloody monkeys, but i've heard some good things about country docs...and you don't have to move to singapore

I'm sorry to say that as much as I'd like to provide service in an underserved rural area, can't say it interests me as much as my current local (Chicago) or the chance to travel the world for a few years.

I admit to being selfish, and not wanting to work in a place without neonatologists.  being called from home to a delivery gone bad to recussitate a blue baby at 3AM may be within my training, but it scares the hell out of me.

BTW- I would catagorize this as just about as off topic as I have ever posted- and I've gone pretty off topic- well maybe not as far afield as a Rick Astley link.

Because it a nation known as a basketball hotbed- especially tall players who dominate on the low block.

I will let you know if I can scrape up a good game of cricket.

My mom was an ob/gyn and was going to go the neonat route at one point.

Fantastic.  Report to us weekly.  You can be the next Jimmie Dolan... without the patented 'Jimmie Dolan Shake n' Bake.'

Points for who can name what movie that's from.

I know better than to mock such a legendary performance.
