could be conflicting results and an unwillingness to agree to more

Still doesn't make sense to me.

Another trade, wizards trade draft rights to bill walker ot celtics for cash

I liked walker - sixers should have bought him

Yeah....doesnt make sense to anyone.............

July 1st? Ed better get creative with the trade possibilities......or pull a crazy rabbit out of his hat with a dim Brand situation. Josh Smith would be ok, but I wouldn't be too fired up about it

I'm heading out to the taste of Chicago tomorow.  BThe big name musical entertainment includes, you guessed it, Chaka Kahn.

I hear she made more money playing in Russia too.  They love jazz over there.

minor tweak, the bigger concer was the acl issues before.

Elton Brand isn't going to opt out, and if he's thinking about it i think LA trades him to miami in a heart beat and he gets the extension he wants from miami cause they want to give it to him.

On the support side, i've always been a big ronny turiaf fan :)

Yeah that Brand news is pretty well known....but I read if they took Beasley they'd just wait around for Boozer and bypass Brand

Someone, I don't remember who, on a national level floated out the idea of a deal that would send Marion to the Lakers, Odom to the Sixers, and cap space plus filler to Miami. I believe Odom is 29 and doesn't really have much potential left. I think this team needs a more assertive force at PF than Odom.

For sure TGP...I loved Odom one time as a point forward, but the mobility went south and now he's a tough fit

I'm not really up on the Brand/Marion Miami stuff, but we'll see....I don't think the sixers are getting anyone 'major' via free agency unless the hawks don't match on josh smith.

I really love the way this draft ended. It makes my feet ticklish.

"With the 60th pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Semih Erden from Turkey. Goodnight."
