By the way, if this forum had a "Quick Reply" option

there is a quick reply....

On the bottom, click the + sign next to click reply (on the left hand side of the screen).

BTW, is this DBods site?

It was.  The site hasn't been active in the few years, but the forums remain alive mainly as a refugee site from when msnbc killed their forums years ago.

Yo, people! Long time lurker on RealGM who reads everything you guys write. I tried registering on the RealGM site a few years ago, but for some reason, was never able to get the confirmation e-mail and gave up trying. I usually post on Philly.Com's sixer forum every once in a blue moon, but mostly lurk over there. I'm looking forward to chatting with other Sixer fans. I'm down in Florida, but have the league pass so that I can watch the games. Looking forward to significant improvements to the franchise both on Thursday night and the first few days of July.

Am I the only one who has to log in EVERY time I visit despite checking the "automatically log me in every time I visit" box on realgm??? That's becoming increasingly frustrating.

Does your computer accept cookies from realgm? If not, change it and it should resolve the problem.

Go to the top of your screen, go to tools, then "options" or "internet options", then privacy. Then put realgm in to allow your computer to accept cookies. This will save your password so you don't have to keep signing in.

If not, Dabods may know a better solution.

Well, I'm either dumb, blind, or both 'cause I don't see the "+" sign on the bottom left hand side. Either way, it looks like we'll have a big group on hand for Thursday Night.

Ah, I found it.  It has to be enabled.  Click on Profile at the top, then "Look and Layout Preferences" on the left, then there's a dropdown for "Use quick reply on topic display", select "show, on by default", and click Change Profile.

Quick, close to new users before its too late.....

To late- I'm in, but it would be great to have a board without trolls.

Its bad enough with the windbags like....   well, like myself. ::)

I doubt I will be watching much of the draft real time- my folks are flying into Chi Town, and I doubt my wife would except me typing away all night.

Glad to see we have this place to bunker down in while RealGm suffers its own self induced denial of service attack.

Look forward to hearing everyones take on what goes down.

Been in Chicagoland about a year- wish I was cloeser to the city.  Taste of Chicago starts this weekend, so should be good.

Its actually my parents and and not in-laws visiting, but we usually have a more exciting time with the in-laws (they are 15 years closer in age to us.)  Should be a good weekend, but likely won't be on the edge of my seat during the draft.  I'll just tape it and fast forward through all of the commercials and the talking heads.

Yeah, I recall Prerak even chiming in just prior to the shut down.

I'm pretty sure that was Jem.
