Question for Laker fans ONLY!

JoMality keeps using the term LaQueers on this board.  I honestly have never heard that before.  What gives, it's an obvious and funny jab at the Lakers so I don't get why I have not heard it before.

I know JoMality tries hard, only about half as hard as he tries to pee without blowing out a vital organ in the morning, but I think Le-Queers is a slight improvement.

LaQueers sounds like Lake Queers
Le-Queers sounds like Lay Queers

I don't know why Le-Queers sounds funnier to me.  ???

I've actually heard it before and what's funny is it was from a french guy I use to work with who was a good friend of mine.  He HATES the Lakers.  We use to go back and forth about them all the time.  He toned it down this year but he really got on me the two previous years.
