What a heart breaker

Blazers lose by one to the Knicks.  The key play happened when Vin Baker goes over the top of, and knocking Damon down to get an offensive rebound.  He passes to Marbury to gets Miles in the air, and the WITH BOTH FEET CLEARLY OVER THE 3 POINT LINE, gets fouled and gets 3 FT, and makes all 3 and the Knicks win by one.
I just don't know how an official who is standing within 10 feet of Marbury cannot clearly see that BOTH feet are clearly over the line.  I could see it from a poor TV angle, and it was confirmed on replay.  Total bull shit call (excuse my language, I apologize in advance).

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

Last night was just a good night for basketball. Think all around, most of the games were tight and very competitive. Rockets stepped up hard to the T-Wolves, I was proud of the Hawks and the Heat. Overall, great NBA highlights from Sportscenter. Nice dunk Manu!

Just an idle thought, but I looked at the standings to see just where the Knicks were in the playoff picture and happened to notice they were fighting to stay in the seventh or eight spot with Boston and Cleveland.

Now, the NBA doesn't REEEEEAAALLY suggest to its referees to try to influence late season games so the team from the biggest market in the land might make the playoffs, would it?
"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.....We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason.....We are not descended from fearful men, not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were for the moment unpopular....We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

What I do find interesting is that EVERY TEAM in the Midwest Division is going to be in the playoffs this year, with only two representatives from the "other" WC division. Sac and La La.  Last time I checked anyway.

Nope.  Either Denver or Utah will be on the outside looking in.  7 Midwest teams and only six playoff spots.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.
