Grew up watching The Jefferson's, MASH, Cheers, Wild Wild West. REALLY ENJOYED

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!  Recently bought the box set, and I was disapointed in just how cheesy that show really was. Hindsight is 20/20, back then, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

That is also one of my childhood favs along with Robotech.  I bought the box set for season one of Robotech and it was cheesy to the max dude.  Still love the OG animea.

What did you think of re-make of Battlestar Gallactica?
Starbuck was a chick.
The Gallactica was an out-dated relic.
Cylons upgraded to look human.
Apolla hates his dad Adama.
Adama is a spick.

I loved it!  :D

I hated it...initially. As a purist, I'll say that.

Now ask me if I'm glad that sci fi decided to make it into a series? Ask me if I'm going to watch it?  HELL YEAH! :)

I lost interest in that show pretty quickly, didn't watch it much until the series left earth, then it got a bit better.

"V" sucked asteriods.

Logan's Run the series never got me interested enough to catch it on a regular basis.

Ark II was awesome, never missed it on Sat mornings.

Star Blazers and Z Force were "can't miss" after school programs.

Ridyne, UltraMan and Giant Robot were awesome!

That brings to mind one of the great philosophical questions....

Am I a computer geek because of my sci-fi childhood?
or
Was my childhood sci-fi because I was destined to be a computer geek?

Of ALL time? All in the Family. There was no show in that era that pushed the envelope like these cats did. Ragged edge, raw cutting edge, forcing the issue type humor that for the day was unbelievable that it made it to air. MASH isn't far behind, but not after Larry Linville left the show. Rockford Files, and Star Trek NG, the old series is great just because it is sooo campy.

Currently, Simsons, although they have lost their edge in recent years, Bernie Mac is great, my daughter got me hooked on Malcom in the Middle.

For Dramas, West Wing and the original Law and Order.

Don't watch much TV, there is a whole world out there to ride in and I simply have better things to do with my time.

The Simpsons
Seinfeld
Star Trek The Next Generation (the best Star Trek without question)

Love dry humor:  Home Improvement for a long time, love Everybody loves Raymond.

Loved Star Trek (the original) and TNG (incredible) -- hated the rest that followed (and they killed any hopes of any more credible series with Voyager -- I'd rather watch the home shopping network).

Cartoons:  Transformers (original) and even better -- Beast Wars, Justice League, and XMen.

Sorry, I don't get the new cartoons, with the exception of Johhny Bravo, you can have 'em, I'll take old Bugs and the Looney Tunes every time, and of course, the cartoon that was really aimed at adults, Rocky and Bullwinkle, love Fractured Fairy Tales!

For Japanese type stuff, tought to beat Gigantor and Ultraman ruled!

Actually, modern cartoons are pretty witty. Jimmy Neutron is funny, also like the Fairly Odd Parents, they kind of grow on ya.

Cartoon classics: Thundarr, Space Ghost, Herculoids, Superfriends, Spiderman and Plasticman are my favs.
