JoMal I hadn't heard that about the comeback player of the year.  That's just appalling.  I'm not prone to sympathy for the Raiders but I feel for you having to watch him bag it like that and then go to New England.

Reality the best I can do is think of it as the LaDanian/Gates bandwagon instead of the Norvous/Rivers bandwagon.

And Laker Fan you actually scored some points with me for your post.  By calling Favre the comeback player of the year you are at least acknowledging that he wasn't playing well before this year.  That's what I hate most about Favre and the toadie announcers.  Almost no one would admit that over the past few years he has made some absolutely boneheaded plays that hurt his team.  Any other quarterback who chucks a wobbly pass in to triple coverage would be ripped apart.  But hey, when it's Favre that's just him being an 'ol gunslinger.  Along with that goes the bullshyte when he completes a pass against tight coverage announcers always go off about how "only Favre could have made that play."

Uh... you mean only Favre, Brady, Peyton, Roethlisberger, Hasselbeck, Romo, Bulger, Brees and Palmer?  Yeah, that's what I thought.

That wagon is pretty gimpy.  Rivers and Gates will be 70% at best it appears, might not even play.  LT will play, but also looking substancially less then 100%.

We need another Norv Sproiels Michael Turner Chargers D team win.

Grrrrr. 3 pics and Norvo and Chargers can only turn it into 12 points.

Farves Lambeau touch was certainly lost yesterday in the clutch.

The NY/GB game was solid.  A combo of bad GB decisions and solid NY defense seemed to determine that game.  Blown FG really made that game a thriller.

I expected a blowout in the SD/NE game but the more and more SD was able to hang in there the more and more I got bummed that they were hurt.  I couldn't help but think a healthy SD team would have put an end to NE season.  NE has looked very mortal lately but I can't imagine NY continuing their magic.  Then again, the Super Bowl is one game and anything can happen.

You have one more good pick than I do and I've watched 1 1/2 games all season.  Congrats!

Must mean I am a pretty fart smeller, then, huh?

A sore-kneed NON-prissy quarterback would NOT have settled for field goals, but only touchdowns. ::)

Let's make this shorter.

Who does NOT think the Pats are going to win.  I made my prediction back in October.

^^ Good point.  And by that it means who puts their money (or some other tangible force behind their pick) so as to prove they believe the Giants can win.  Case in point, a bunch were razzing Charles Barkley as he had said before the Dallas Mavs - Golden State series the Mavs would roll.  Afterwords as the razzers razzed, Chuck said who put thier money on GState before the series.

Last week I already board picked the Chargers when if it was for some reason going to truly "cost" me i would have picked the Pats.
No, i still think the Chargers are better rosterwise but Bellichek trumps and trumped Norv so in the whole pachage dept the Pats are and were better, 21-12.

So let me think if i would truly pick the Giants.....
Also I can't risk falling into a board tie with .500 owner KobeWoW.

Good point.  I reluctantly put my money on the greasy Pats.
Which also guarantees I'll finish ahead of WoWowned. :D
