Hey y'all!!!
Now I know that this may be a somewhat offensive subject - but hear me out...
Last weekend, I was sitting around with some of my oldest buds (some of whom I have known for almost 40 years - dang) just shooting the breeze when a somewhat skanky topic came up (I can't remember why it did). Now all of my friends are in their early 50s just like me - while we still feel (and at least in my case, look - LOL) pretty good, we know that the 'Grim Reaper' is stalking us, and gaining ground. For some reason, we got started on the subject of the 'Old Man Smell' - after some initial banter, my #1 bessest fren' said he would commit suicide if he ever detected that stench emanating from his person - much to our uproarious laughter (you had to be there)! After reflection (and sobering up...LOL) the next day, i was wondering why should this be? Is there something about the aging process that naturally causes us to reek, or is it that we just don't care about/are unable to attend to) our hygiene as much as we age? The very fact that my crew and I identified a discrete, generic 'Old Man Smell' that applies to all 'old men' regardless of race, religion, or national origin leads me to the 1st conclusion, for the most part. NOW, this aging thing is REALLY starting to make me psycho...what else.
