I can now cross off one more item on my "Things I must do before I die" list.  In this case the goal was to hang out with Brazilian sports fans.   :D  A Brazilian guy I know clued me into where they were gathering for the Brazil/France World Cup matchup.  It was everything I hoped for.  Well organized chanting and singalongs, beautiful women in skin tight  yellow and green outfits alternating between dancing and cursing the French team, guys with drums and whistles and rum drinks o'plenty.  Highly recommended.

Can you imagine what it would be like surrounded by them in the stadium.  Either entertaining or very frightening.....eh, probably both. :D

It still amazes me how important soccer is to most people around the world, my cousin in Tunisia once told me how he and his friend, Biscuit, incited a riot at a stadium in Tunis watching a regular season Tunisian League match.  Ridiculous!

My wife and I got ourselves invited to a Brazilian birthday party in Barcelona a few years back. Spur of the moment thing, but the party started at midnight. A hazy evening overall, but one thing I do remember are the women dancing on the bar. They were stunning.....and....um.....friendly.

Did I mention how stunning they looked?
