Kobes and Randys dream title still alive
« on: April 19, 2006, 09:47:28 AM »
Randy saw it, but still can't and won't explain it.  Kobees 23 FTAs on 11-28 shooting last Sunday vaulted the Kobster past two others higher in the standings.  3 passed, really, as he is now tied with Lebron James.  James however is sitting out.

Allen Iverson is now the o-n-l-y player standing in Kobes way of claiming another FTA title.  A.I.s antics last night will ensure he won't play in the finale.  Oh wait, Mo might not play him.

Thus POOR Kobe needs only 16 FTAs tonight vs New Oklahoma.  Wanna make any bets on how tonights game turns out? B)  RandyKoast will be uber quick to point out POOR Kobe does not own the FTAs per game lead.  He has fallen all the way to #3 in that catagorie, which shows an obvious NBA ref bias towoards Kobe.  He would need about 200 FTAs tonight to reclaim that lead.  A challenge, but I'm sure a run will be made at this title also.

If the refs actually called it every time Kobe was fouled, he'd shoot 45 FT's a game.  He gets jobbed like C Webb did when he played for the POOR Kings.

You're totally right, JoMal ... the number is probably closer to 60.  I was trying to be conservative  B)

Well it sure was close.  Kobe deserved 45 free throws last night but was jobbed by the refs by 40.  Still the Kobster came in 2nd overall.  What an effort.

msc are you in line for a spot opposite Steve hartman on the Loose Cannons lineup?
