You guys anywhere near the path of the flood in Missouri?
A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

I thought this was going to be a discussion on the biblical flood.

No.  Skander and I are in Columbia - which is about halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City.  Randy is south/southwest of us.  Caleb is near St. Louis.  And my parents are in Bootheel, near the western edge of it right where it meets Arkansas.

The flood is in the Lesterville area, which is southwest of St. Louis.

Kevin, if you are referring to the Taum Sauk Dam that broke in Southeast Missouri, then no, I don't believe any of us are, thankfully.  I know Joe, Skander and I aren't.  I thought Randy lived near the Lake of the Ozarks, which would put him out of harm's way.

And, if in terms of natural disaster in Missouri, you're talking about what's happening to my fantasy team this week, I'll let you know if I survive.

The Ozarks aren't affected -- I'd actually LIKE to see a bit more rain here.  Of course, I'd like some warmer weather to go along with that.
