Are the wheels falling off for the Eagles?

I didn't see the game yesterday, was visiting some friends in DC.  But I saw the score last night when I got home.

Dallas 33 Eagles 10!?

This shouldn't happen to the Birds, under any circumstances.  It shows how much the defense depends on good field position, and without David Akers, they don't get that.

Their lines are no longer dominant.  In fact, they're probably too week to win consistently, certainly agaisnt the good teams.

Donovan can't dominate the game by throwing without at least the appearance of a running attack.  If they can't run, the opposing team will go after Donovan all day.

The O-line can't block.  If they could Westbrook would be able to run.

IMO, the Eagles brain trust got too cheap and are short-handed on the lines. The margin for victory got a lot smaller with the loss of Akers and it's now showing.  They had better spend some money and try to pick up some additional offensive lineman quick, if they want to make another run at the Super Bowl.  It they're not willing to spend the money, Donovan may as well sit out and get the surgery done.  He won't be around forever, and the Eagles are blowing a great opportunity by being cheap.

TO, Westbrook and McNabb are at the top in terms of skill positons, the defense has a great secondary and decent linebackers.  But without the guys in the trenches, they won't get it done.

Concur.  However in todays parity NFL, Eagles can still go 11-5.  So can Skins tho.  They almost pulled another rabbit out of their hat vs the Cheatin Donkeys. Parcells have never let his teams slack either.  That was a bounce back from their previous stinkers, injured Eagles or not.

It's not the same for McNabb this year, that's for sure.  Surgery now?  Well they said his injury probably would not get worse so i dunno.  Lets give it a few more weeks and see how he/Eagles is doing.  I need them to punk the Donkeys.

Cinci all i can say is rookie mistake.  Way to blow a great ending, Palmer.  On 1st down at midfield pack the ball away or throw it away when the rush comes.  Holding it like a loaf of bread. :nonono:     That was disappointing.

Vick injured. along with McNabb.  This is blowing an Eagle-ATL NFC finals whereupon Vick will zoom over, under, around, in between and past the Eagle D.

Tampa Bay.  Gonna have to get an offense to go with that D.

Chargers.  Will the real team stand up tonight.  Antonio Gates is certainly a difference maker.  14-3 when he plays.  I'm trying to get a full cup of regular into Marty Shots usual decaff.  Oh the resulting offense!

Man the backup QB for ATL got ROBBED.  That "out of bounce" call was probably one of the worst NFL calls I have ever seen in my life.  The ref was literally the closest person to the play and blew the call by at least 10 inches.  He was not even close to being out of bounce and that 'you cant challenge' was a load of crap.    I was HEATED and that isnt even my team.  I just wanted to see the QB who played a hell of a game come thru with a victory.  Instead the wack ass patriots end up winning by 3.  Total  :bs:

Eagles game- Watched just about the whole thing and saw some pee-wee league defense by the Birds.  Mind you Drew Bledsoe was one of the best QBs in the league say 7-8 years ago.  Now hes a shell of a shell of his former self...yet in the first half alone they had 250 yards in the air.  The defense was........well there was NONE.  Recievers were being left wide open the entire game.  SICKENING.
