This is interesting, because this was a S&T with Portland. They did this using NJ's trade exemtion they got in the KMart deal last yera, and it expires next week. If they can't gte the physical finalized by next week, then the trade exemption expires, which means if NJ wants to sign him, they will have to use the MLE. They have used $3 million of that on Jeff McInnis, meaning Shareef is going from $28 Million over 6 years to about $12 million over 5 years.
