Shaq has never paid a women to "stay" with him...
« on: July 28, 2005, 05:07:44 PM »
After months of hearing about the numerous celebrity sexploits of former music video pro Karrine Steffans, her autobiography detailing the encounters will finally hit bookshelves this week.

In HarperCollins’ "Confessions of a Video Vixen," Steffans describes in lurid detail her sexcapades with a number of famous entertainers, including Shaquille O’Neal, Vin Diesel and even your boy, Bobby Brown.

"I wasn't trying to hurt or embarrass anybody with my story," Steffans told Newsweek. "Because that's what it is—my story, not theirs. It describes what happened to me in graphic detail. I'm just putting it out there as plain as I can. But it's only about 40 percent of everything that happened."

Here are a few excerpts from "Confessions of a Video Vixen," courtesy of the New York Daily News:

• Shaquille O'Neal "was charmingly self-effacing about his sexual prowess and wanted to reduce my expectations," she writes. But "compared to other men," she assures readers, "he was nothing to complain about." She also claims that Shaq deposited $10,000 into her bank account the day after they met as a means to keep her on standby.

• Vin Diesel was "a beautiful man ... blessed with an enviable eight-pack and an even more enviable [bleep]."

• Sex with "insatiable" producer Irv Gotti "became more like a boxing match." Steffans also claims Gotti offered her up to his friends.

• After inviting her to his home at 4 a.m., Sean "P. Diddy" Combs kicked his umbrella man Fonzworth Bentley out of a guest bedroom so he and Steffans could handle some business. "You're one of the best," she says P. Diddy told her. Steffans writes: "I said the same to him, when, in actuality, he was average."

• She let Bobby Brown hit it in 2002. Steffans says she never saw him do drugs, but thought he was mentally touched based on an encounter where "he told me he was a member of Al Qaeda and that President Bush was looking for him."

• After Ja Rule broke out one morning before she woke up from their night of passion, "I looked around for something to take with me, something that would smell like him but wouldn't be missed," she said. "On the floor I found a balled

westkoast,

Perhaps I miss your point here.

I know that when Shaq said he never paid any women off, *I* didn't believe him.  He was making a self-serving (false) statement to the public.  I thought EVERYONE thought that.

Doesn't mean that Kobe's statement to the police, although completely true, wasn't a bit sleazy and definitely self-serving at the expense of a teammate.

Agreed, Joe. Not to mention that I find this sort of thing a little bit inappropriate on a forum of this type.
"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.....We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason.....We are not descended from fearful men, not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were for the moment unpopular....We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

This has nothing to do with what Kobe said or Kobe at all.  Her book just came out this last week and shes been promoting it on hip hop radio stations coast to coast.  Thought since it has to do with Shaq and I post all things Shaq/Laker related, that I would post it.  Kobe's a rat plain and simple.  Us younger guys call that dry snitching.  It like when you were in grade school and there was always that one kid who got busted then had to get everyone else busted to, for whatever reason.

Gimmie an f'in break JoMaL.  If we all can sit and talk about Kobe raping a woman on this board then I can post a thread about Shaq paying a woman to "stay" with him.  Dont you think speaking about a woman being rapped and the details of that a little bit more over the top than 'Shaq paid me 10k the night after' I even went as far to put a warning on the thread title.  What are we 9 around here?

westkoast,

Ah.  My bad.  I considered this "old news," since we were talking about this a while back on FanHome.  I just thought you brought it up in relation to the other thread.  Didn't realize it was quite so current.  Again - my bad.

No problem.  And im sure the whole Kobe/Shaq argument this past week made it look that way also.  Of course me being very much into hip hop and all things related (along with b-ball) this story caught my attention yesterday so I posted it.

There is suppose to be other NBA players in the book mentioned but since Shaq is a big name that is one of the people highlighted by the press to hype up tha book yaknow?

Plus you know this line is funny..."he told me he was a member of Al Qaeda and that President Bush was looking for him." <---speaking on Bobby Brown

Even by mentioning it, you endorse a tell-all book, which by their very nature are a bit self-serving and tiresome after a while.

The first thing that the women who is being called, "the Runaway Bride" got after she was caught were countless interviews with the likes of Katie Couric and a $1 million dollar book deal.

Nine year olds would be interested in this crap, but adults would have never bothered to post it.

The little Georgia town that she cost like 60K in police search expenses.  She paid back like 20K thru a fine.

Now that she raked it in with Katie and the other media vultures, did she pay her hometown back?

Ok I will take that into mind anytime you post any kind of news.  You automatically are backing whatever is said in an article.

I am sorry such things are beneth you.  Maybe if I was to replace Shaq's name with Kobe's name then you would have been a little bit more intrested eh?  You sure seemed to be real intrested when he was caught doing this kind of thing and got busted.

That's a lie.

I never was that interested in Kobe's off-court problems and I certainly am not now and would not bring them into any discussion in and by itself.

As I stated in the other thread, it should not be brought up at all. Only those incapable of legitament arguments would care about this stuff in relations to basketball issues.

What is most fascinating is that you actually do have a need to discuss it as a means to distract from more intelligent discussions.

Pathetic.

There is no argument here buddy.  I am posting news about a basketball player.  Thats it.  So stop trying to make it into something its not.  This is no different than me posting about how Kobe and Karl had problems because Karl made a comment to his wife.  Did I bring that up too because I was incapable of legitament arguments or because I was passing along player-related news?  Id say the later.

Ahh yes, because we all know how popping this board is in the off-season.  We just have so much to talk about and so much basketball-related news to discuss until our faces turn blue or our fingers for that matter.

JoMaL if you didnt care about Kobe's off the court antics then why did you post in threads about it?  Simply by posting in those threads you were showing intrest in the topic at hand were you not?

Yeah, that was real controversial stuff I wrote back then about Kobe and his trial.

Glad you looked it up; couldn't remember what, exactly, I bothered to contribute back then, but I thought I would add something because it was such a big deal on the board when it was going on.
