Gee, guys, how sensitive you are to a little showmanship.
It wasn't 'arrogance' or confidence that made Bibby do his dance (well, maybe a little). What it is, is he has been doing this shimmy dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!.
That means that the Lakers just think that we care more about beating them then we do any other team, so somehow Mike's dance suddenly became "unique' unto Laker arrogance/Kings' confidence, which is nonsense.
Why? Because Mike does this dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!
If you are looking for a good reason for it, let's just throw out a wild supposition and theorize that the Lakers actuall play in the NBA, and Mike Bibby, for some exhuberant reason, has decided to do a little shimmy dance after hitting a big three point shot late in any game in which the Kings play.
Why? Because Mike does this dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!
Not those coached by Phil Jackson, or are played in front of disappointed Laker fans at Staple Arena, but also AGAINST ALL TEAMS that play in the League.
That Phil is suddenly shy and demur and sensitive to it might speak volumes about his own imagined place in the world, but Mike does really see him or the Lakers that way. He just dances his admittedly silly dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!
Sorry Phil. You and the Lakers are nothing special when it comes to attracting the silly antics of opposing NBA players. Just another mocked victim of it.
