People are not sure if the cause was from siesmic activity or from the fact that the Clippers passed the Lakers in the standings. Coincidentally on the same night the Clippers passed the Lakers in the standings both teams were mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs.
The playoff picture is pretty much set in the West, the only team that could break into the playoff picture is Minny, the rest have been eliminated.
