Quincy Carter and Dallas Cowboys

Since Jarrah Jones said "it was an easy decision, he did not have to labor over it at all" -paraphrasing, and Bill Parcells sent Q Carter packing, whatever became of that issue?

i thought Carter appealed to the NFLPA.

Parcells is quite testy since his test with Vinny has not panned out.

Carter and Jets won yesterday to go 7-3.  Carter was the QB in a defensive game.

Didnt Parcells bench Vinny and put in the new kid?  Parcells blew it but I don't think any of us believe he made the wrong choice.  The kid got busted with some coke.

Not really.  Vinny got hurt, only reason Drew Henson went in.  The last two weeks Parcells had been scruffing with the media on how he would not take Vinny out.

Re coke i believe the NFLPA got it so either one cannot be ousted for coke on the 1st 37 offenses/ or the team cannot announce it.  That is why there was a scuttlebut.
Besides, cut a guy because of coke?  See Parcells-Lawrence Taylor and Jerrah Jones-Michael Invin.  Not to mention your 10-6 playoff starting QB.

Anywho this is the 1st time a Parcells team has not turned it around, altho Dallas turn it around since Parcells takeover, big time by making the playoffs last year.  Just that all of Parcells previous teams have continued the rise up to the Conf Champ or SuperBowl 3Xs 3 different teams.  A small step backwords or this team is toast?  We'll see.  Even if this years Cowboys are toast, and they are, with FA and parity, every year is a new year in the NFL.  San Diego Chargers 7-3.
