I predict:Oscars: Sean Penn will get punked by Johnny Depp. Serious nominees always win, Johnny Depp's whimsical fun character will sway voters into giving him the statue.
Bush will win by a landslide: Bostered by the capture of Osama Bin Ladin heading into the election, Bush will say the war on terror isn't over. Kerry will take a signficant hit when Howard Dean throws his support to Edwards. The overall democractic ticket will take an even bigger hit when Ralph Nader, once again, proves to be the spoiler. Bottom line. A war president has never been kicked out of office. Despite the domestic problems the US faces, many will overlook that to focus on the war. (future thought: It will come out in 20 years that Bush was the most corupt president the US has had since Richard Nixon.)
History will show that the War on Terror, while making inroads into the terrorist network, only rallied thousands more to join the matyrs cause. Osama will be killed, the US will parade his photo. He will become a legend to people that didn't initially support him.
2008: Bottom line for the demos is, they don't have their act together, its' not their year. Hillary Clinton will make inroads, she will gains support, and will overtake the White House for the demos in 2008. (I know, scary thought.)
