Intel that sparked alert dates to 2000

U.S. officials say the detailed surveillance photos and documents that prompted higher terror warnings dated from as far back as 2000 and 2001, prior to 9-11.

Why all the heightened terror alerts NOW??  Politics is the only reason that I can think of. Why scare the American people this way unless you had credible info??

So people can see the "plan" Bush and his staff put together to stop all this terror is working so well.....that nothing happend.

Probably also to push some heat onto Clinton because if they have info about an attack now that was gathered from 3-4 years ago.  Then 9/11 information must have been comming in since long before Bush took office, right?
