Does these statements seem to clash?

Statements by TD:

"They were very aggressive out of the gate," Duncan said. "They had a good defensive scheme and executed it well. They took us all out of our games."

"The game was called differently, the game was played differently, and they were aggressive and we didn't react the right way," Duncan said.

The game was definately played differently but I'm not sure that I would agree that it was called differently.  The refs had to adjust to the game as much as the Spurs did.  And the Lakers simply took a page right out of the defending book of Bruce Bowen.  If it's okay for the goose then it's okay for the gander, right?

It's in the NBA's by laws that you can't criticize Tim Duncan.  ;)
