I saw a preview for a movie with jet li called "Hero"  the movie looks great.  anyway, what got to me was this preview said it was a tarantino film...driected by someone else and produced by someone else......so how is it a tarantino film???

anyway, i got a treat this weekend becuase a buddy of mine has this damn movie on DVDR already!!!  we checked it out and it is AWESOME, great story, great cinematography, choreography, and story is great too.....this goes WAY beyond what Crouching tiger tried to do IMO.

Brought the thing home to burn and the disc went bad through halfway.  really bites, gotta  see if this guy can burn another copy of it.  apperantly this must have been released in china or japan already.  could quentin get name rights for helping bring it over?  when this comes out in theatre here i suggest checking it out, it is excellent..

On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.....We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason.....We are not descended from fearful men, not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were for the moment unpopular....We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

This is probably the same thing he did with another high quality chop sockey flick, Iron Monkey.  It will probably say the movie is "presented" by Quentin Tarantino, which means he used his influence and/or money to get the film made or distributed in the U.S.

I think other directors (Coppola comes to mind) have done this.
