Anyone else really annoyed by the scheduling?
« on: May 04, 2004, 02:08:27 PM »
This three days between games garbage is annoying.  I understand the idea is to maximize profits but at this rate we'll have to chose between watching the first game of the Finals and fireworks on the 4th.  An article today mentioned that the Miami/NO series has taken 17 days to complete!

Also I'm growing weary of the Wolves late start times.  I guess it was to be expected during the first series but once again the first games with the Kings won't start until almost 9 central! With the 2 hour difference between Central and Pacific it probably won't get any better when the series shifts to Sacto.

it IS a lot of time between games....really bites after being pumped up from beating LA and then having to wait for the next game....

On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

No kidding it sucks! Not that I am worried about it yet by any means, but if the Kings somehow make the Championship round, I will have to miss the entire series, since it is going to be played in June. I will not be in the country for almost the entire month and will have to rely on USA Today blurbs for any news.

Now that really sucks!!!

FYI JoMal.

The Finals are always in June.  As a fan of the Kings I completely understand why you wouldn't know that.

Back in the 80's b-ball fans grew up thinking only the Lakers and Celtics played in June.
"History shouldn't be a mystery"
"Our story is real history"
"Not his story"

"My people's culture was strong, it was pure"
"And if not for that white greed"
"It would've endured"

"Laker hate causes blindness"

That's nice and all, but I will be in some place called Tex-ass, and I don't even know how to speak Asinine, let alone have any hope they communicate with anything more advanced then semi-used Campbell Soup cans and string.

I know you Californicaters like to think of Texas as another country....and the state is large enough to be one.  However, we are part of the United States and will be long after your smog drenched beaches are the playground of marine life.

Or in simple terms....when California falls into the ocean, Texans will still be winning NBA titles.   :D

If California falls into the ocean, there will be no one left to mock what the Tex-Ass UFO Anal Probe Magnets will be doing at their semi-annual Tiddly Winks and Biggest Cow Paddy contest that draws thousands from across the plain ugly plains of West Tex-Ass to San Antonio each year for the giant roadkill B-B-Q cookoff contest.

That would be a bummer, man.

Apparently my previous post regarding Tex-Ass zitizens being anal probe magnets has more then a passing interest on your part, Spursx3.

I suggest you put that wig on yourself and practice, practice, practice.

I was annoyed with the first round going 7 games.....now I am annoyed because of breaks in the 6 teams I want to watch.

Bad call by the league.  I know the fans are hurting and especially the players on the Kings/Spurs.  That first win momentum kinda hit a speed bump because of the longer break.

You get a little bit of grannies special moonshine into the Spurs fans and the board goes to ****
