Thank god.  Iggy hurt his shooting arm.

And a shout-out to Sammy who was a monster in the 3rd.

I hope we see more pick and roll run for Speights.  he was the only player who looked good out there tonight.  He needs to start.

The Andres had a nice 2 man game going in the first half, too bad they disappeared just before halftime.

Dalembert had a pretty good 2nd half.  3 blocks in the 1st minute of the 3rd.

DiLeo gives Speights 30 minutes, and Speights rewards him with 16 points on 7-11 shooting with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks.

Tough game for Thad

Williams did a nice job setting people up (love his chemistry with Speights).. 8 assists tonight.  Also got to the line a lot.

Kareem Rush's 1st start was... well... he sucks.  Made me actually miss Willie.

I was doing some last minute shopping, no real urgency to see tonight's game.  Garnett is a huge match-up problem for Thad, plus Thad has been playing pretty average at best lately.  Looks like Speights and Lou were hopping and that's about it.  Kareem Rush, yeah, he's not good.

One positive note.... I did like the way Lou and Speights didn't back down against the celts.  Particularly against Garnett who was chirping in their both of their ears in the 2nd half.

Its amazing how Lou and Speights can run the pick and roll and yet no one else on the team can.

I guess this could be seen as either a good thing (for the future) or a problem.

Get Brand healthy and add another P&R capable guard and you will have two very good pairings.  I imagine Jason Smith might have some pick and pop ability as well.

Thanks, you reminded me that I intended to grab him for my fantasy team (Marc Gasol now available in aisle 7). I now have the three young studs of the Sixers in Young, Williams and Speights on my team.  Come on Tony, play those young guys big minutes.  Now if only I could get Greg Oden and David West to start rebounding more, my team would be tough.
