I noticed that no one mentioned the defensive job

that a particular "old and feeble" Gary Payton did on Mike Bibby the other night.  GP wanted to play Bibby one-on-one and PJ gave him permission right before the game and stated that they would "see how it goes."  GP once again looked like the glove as Bibby had a horrible night.

No doubt GP did a good job on Bibby.  I think the key to his defense was offense.  GP took it to Bibby in the low post, where Bibby has little chance of guarding him, and really made Bibby work on the defensive end.

maybe its all the practice he got in filming those commercials with him guarding a CHAIR.
