Please go to your local papers and post any interesting articles from your respective hometown publications. I really enjoy reading what the other side has to say. I'll do the same...I'll stop when were out of the playoffs...in Round 1.

Will do.  I hope everyone can post articles from each of their teams.  This is really my only way of having some real serious basketball talk with fans of other teams.

We usually beat non-laker fans to a bloody pulp around here so its hard to talk to them when they are getting a gutter mouth.

Another pet peeve of mind is watching the homer station broadcast Spurs games.  Everything is "OH MY GOD, MANU THIS!" or "that certainly didn't look like a foul to me, the Spurs surely got robbed.."

I want to watch TNT non-biased game, screw that homer crap!

Couldn't agree more.  This is one of the reasons why Chick Hearns was one of my favorites -- he would call it like it was -- "oh, that was a beautiful move by the opponent -- left (whatever Laker it was) standing still" -- how many homer announcers make that kind of comment.  Sure, most give an obligatory nod to the superstars but only as an excuse why there team is losing or looking so good (if they are winning).  Chick used to make comments when the Lakers were playing horrible ball -- he'd just say it -- very few announcers like that in the league.

And the worst of the worst?  Chicago and Cleveland.  I've YET to hear an announcer from these two cities EVER admit that their team fouled anyone -- and yet they are fouled every time down the court.  Makes one nauseous.

I'm not so much of a homer that I don't see that. When I watching a game, I'm always yelling "oh, sweet backdoor!"  SHUTUP X3!  I know where your going with that!

Hey, 101, if you don't want your shot slammed back into your face then you can't leave those weak half-hearted teardeops floating over head.

And I'm sure X3 wouldn't appreciate your backdoor moves on him.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.
