Actually there is one team that will contain Randy Moss every week, and unfortunately that team appears to be the Raiders. Why do they even put Moss out on the field? They would be better served by putting some other receiver out there instead, like Whitted, because at least there is a chance Collins will actually throw him the ball.
As for the line play, the Raiders have, so far, inept run-blocking linemen, and decent pass blockers. But on defense they really know how to shine. The big, run stoppers they brought in have no ability to rush the passer and McNabb, who was clearly off the mark in the first half, could have decimated the Raiders if he could have hit another dozen of his open receivers. The Raiders are afraid to blitz because they have such poor safeties (ie Derrick Gibson, who should not even be in the League, let alone a top draft pick), and other then Woodson, no corners who actually can play the receiver instead of running over him.
But I have basically given up on any good plays the team might make. Too many get called back due to penalties. There is no fun watching this team week after week. Two touchdowns were called back last week (one was clearly a bad called on Moss in the end zone), and every big play resulting in a first down, you have to hold your breath until the yellow flag comes out, which is more common then the play actually standing.
It is just tiring to watch, week after week.
