Phil Jackson in the running to coach....

I'm hearing

That it would be a mistake to discount Minnesota's chances of luring Phil Jackson to Great Lakes country. The buzz I keep hearing is that the Wolves have a shot if owner Glen Taylor wants to spend at the Zenmeister level for a coach, even with the Lakers and Knicks chasing Jackson. The lure of coaching Kevin Garnett is apparently that appealing.

That figures. Old Phil Jackzen would most definitely chose as his next destination any place with a superstar in place. You know, it certainly makes coaching so much easier when you just tell the team. "See that guy? He gets the ball. The rest of you make sure that he does", then he can go and sit on his zenbuns and smirk.

"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.....We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason.....We are not descended from fearful men, not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were for the moment unpopular....We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

Anyone else think KG would step his game up even more if he was playing in a system like the triangle?
