Make your pick on this series.
A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

I, like most, are pulling for a Boston upset. I voted Yanks though, have to be a realist.

Gotta go for the BoSox, I'm a Dodgers fan, and you all know how we feel about the Yankees.

That was on some kind of t-ball crap.  Something a pouty 9 year old would do.  A-Rod lost all my respect when he even bothered to argue he was "just running" <insert a-rod's cartoon running hand motions> The look on Joe Torres face was classic.  Said 'jesus, if I dont pretend to argue this I will hurt my pre-madonna' without moving his lips.  Speaking of the lord and savior, Bo Sox needed a miracle and they just happend to have Jesus on their team.

Yanks will win tommorow.  If they don't ill force myself to watch two bad Bennifer movies back to back to show my Bo Sox love.

westcoast, that was a very cheesy move by ARod.  You don't slide into first normally, but if there was ever a time to do it that was it.  It was very obvious.  Props to the umps.  Get the call right.

I called this baby going 7 games, so I am proud of myself on that.  My heart says Red Sox, but my head says Yanks.  They are just to good to lose 4 straight.  Francona says he is going with Lowe, that is his only option but that isn't good news.  He has been hit hard all year.  Maybe he can go back to 2002, and have that big game, but I just don't see.  He is a sinker slider pitcher, and when he gets tired, he gets the ball up.  A hard 88-90 sinker or slider is very hard to hit, but one that doesn't sink or move is just a belt high fastball with no pace.  That is a recipe for disaster.

Kevin Brown though is no sure thing.  He hasn't done anything in months, but he is a better pitcher than Lowe and he is going on more rest.  No doubt he has the advantage.  Rivera was able to get the night off, but Foulke wasn't so another advantage for the Yanks.
