vp debate..
« on: October 06, 2004, 07:14:22 AM »
OK, i didnt catch the VP debate last night.  I just read something saying that it went better for Cheney last night then edwards.  Was it better than the presidential debate?  somebody let me know what happenned and what they thought...
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

Didn't change peoples minds. Demo's will say they won, Repubs will claim victory too. Edwards kept up the attacks that the administration hasn't been upfront with the American people, and Cheney. Well, Cheney was his old, experienced grumpy self.

It was a night of zingers, if it was a rap battle, I would say that Cheney dissed Edwards more and won the debate. Very slight edge though.

I watched a few minutes when the Twins/Yankees were in commercials breakes.  Nothing seemed ground breaking.  I'll say this though.  It actually seemed like a DEBATE.  It just felt less programmed than Kerry/Bush.

It was definitely a better debate.  I'm not sure it did a whole lot to change swing voters either way, and don't think either side can really claim victory on the content of the debate.

Cheney is loosing every single online poll right now.  MSNBC has him at 40% to Edwards 60%.  It was pretty boring to say the least.  If you check out MSNBC they break down how many times words were repeated.  Waste of time IMO.  They've beat the Iraq issue till its blue in the face.  Both sides.  Lets get on some other issues here guys.

Was nice to see Edwards compliment Cheney about him being true to his daughter.
