SA is not in the Kidd sweepstakes, they don't have the money anymore because they need to resign their own FA's. I think people put too much into the Spurs TD mystique, while IMO they are the clear favorites along with Minny for the title next year, just look at how far that got them with Jackson.
L.A. can offer expiring contracts in Payton and Fox or Payton, Walton and Rush which offers an expiring contract and young cheap talent. I very muich doubt that happens either.
Dallas has the best shot IMO because they have an even better mix of expiring contracts and young talent.
What many seem to overlook is Kidd is NOT the same player anymore after he undergoes knee surgery. Kidds surgery is somewhat similar to what Webbers/Penny/Houston had to go through. Supposed "minor" surgery to correct a "defect" on a "non-weight bearing" portion of the knee.
