Geez, JoMal, gaither.

a mere 2 hours from tipoff and no smack, no analysis and no good lucks.  * sigh*-_-  


Perhaps a small wager?  JoMal perhaps a Kings series victory could mean delivery of bottle of oh, perhaps, Shooting Star's Blu Franc Lemberger from Washington to your door?  In the event of a Wolves win, well, I'm open to suggestion though my cab selection is looking a might lean right now.  ;)

gaither I would mail a small dog to you but the last time I tried it ended bad, what with the police and camera crews.  You'd think the fact that it was Xmas and I had the dog dressed in a Santa suit would have clued them in that it was a gift but instead it's "No, Dr. I don't know why I'm here and no Dr. this dress didn't belong to my mother." Pheh!

Oh how I looke forward to yet another Webber flop in Mpls.  Going back to his college days losing to MN or even Duke in the National Championship the man CANNOT get his team to win here.

You can add LA, Dallas and Utah to that list.

Heck, just throw the whole US into that mix.

Since you guys are too soft to start tossing threats back at jn ill pipe in for Sac-towns sake.  The left coast sticks together :lol:

Why would there be bad blood between the two teams?  They have alot in common......like for example Christie's wife and KG both love to grab the men they are close (on the court or in the house, either or) to by the nuts and pull them around.

Hah HO WK! It's haltime and since I'm making a rare return to the world of whiskey I must respond!  

It's no wonder you mentioned Christie as he brought such glory to LA during his time there.  I look for him to bring the same level of success to this series as he brought the Lakers!

So sorry to disappoint, jn. My time online is much more limited these days. Besides I reserve my trashtalking for one team only (and it's not the T-wolves) ;)

I was pleasantly surprised with how much energy the Kings brought to this game from tip-off. Divac played like a new man. I guess all the rest he got during the Mavs series rejuvenated his tired old limbs.  CWebb is still obviously playing impaired, but his movement seemed better and he did a decent job defending Garnett. Peja has yet to find his rhythm (hopefully soon), which worked to the T-wolves favor. But the rest of the team (particularly, Bibby) has stepped up in Peja's time of struggle. This should be a tough series, one that I think will go all 7 games. If Peja regains his stroke, Minnesota could be in serious trouble.

Sorry Jordan, but the only reason it seemed like Webber did a decent job on Garnett is because he had the luxury of knowing he had help defense all night long, Garnett was being double teamed if he got with 20 feet of the ball, it opened up Cassell but it was not Webber that shut Garnett down, not by a long stretch, the Kings en masse contributed to that aspect of the game.

First off, no one is going to really shut down Garnett. That includes everyone in the NBA, not just Webber. The help defense on Garnett is a given regardless of who the main defender would be, so why bother singling out Chris not being able to handle him? Duncan could not handle him one-on-one; neither can Malone  :o

So I can't expect either Webber or Miller to win that battle by themselves.

Sorry I missed your bet, jn. The bottle of Mazzocco Matrix I would have bet was gone by the end of the first quarter anyway.

Geez, I'm a pretty harsh critic of CWebb (for a King's fan anyway), but give the guy some credit where credit is due. I wasn't insinuating he shut KG down, just that he did a decent job defending him. Whether he had help in doing so seems irrelevant to me.
