That's Hoiberg's game right there.  Except for one brief shooting slump midseason Freddy pretty much played to his potential all year.  What you saw last night is just about what you can expect and Hassell also played as well as I could hope for.

Yes, Randy. For whatever reason, the Kings' defense has suddenly become a positive for SacTown in the playoffs. Both road wins can be traced directly to the defensive plan Elston Turner put in place.
"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.....We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason.....We are not descended from fearful men, not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were for the moment unpopular....We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

It's Spree that has to step up his game more -- and Flip has to be quicker to go to Madsen when the Candiman is playing like an idiot.

Agreed Randy.  I don't think Kandi has played even one GOOD game in the playoffs.

I would be scared if I was a Wolves fan and had to pin my hopes on Madsen being my "enforcer" in the paint.  In the playoffs.  Against either SA or LA in the next round.

I guess that's why SA tried to sign him, huh?  One of the things that Pop realizes (even if SA's less than observant fans haven't figured out) is that energy and toughness is an important aspect to be able to bring off a bench.  That's why the Spurs signed Horry to help Bowen provide that.

Don't knock the hustle of the Mad Dog.  If you follow true to form Mad Dog would be a "difference maker" if he wore a Spurs uni.

Losing Mad Dog and Big Shot Rob really bites!

What do Space Jam and Spur fans have in common?  They both believe in "miracle juice."  Spur fans believe it happens as soon as ANY player puts on a Spurs uniform:  Anthony Carter, Samaki Walker, etc., etc., etc.  Players who weren't anything previously in their career come to SA and put on the ugly uniform and suddenly transform into incredible stars.  Spur fans ought to continue to be happy that they have a great GM who knows how to rig the NBA lotto.

Pop never tried to sign Madsen....besides we already have that type of player on our roster.   And yes, I would welcome his energy...OFF THE BENCH.  But you are talking about him being the primary inside player for the Wolves....since their pf plays a perimeter game.

Key words: PRIMARY INSIDE PLAYER.....that's what I was laughing at.
