Maybe it's because I'm slightly buzzed (a few beers and a shot of Crown tends to do that) and in a good mood (Spring Training less than a month away!), but that was awesome.

First of all, Miami does have HEAT.  I think that name is appropriate.

Orlando Magic works for me as well, given Orlando is home to "The Magic Kingdom."  But I draw the line at Stuff - the Magic's Dragon.

The Raptors name still bugs me.  Can't remember what personality originally suggested it, but I still say if they wanted to go for a dinosaur, they should be the "Toronto Saurus Rex."

Hornets in New Orleans?  Nah.

Hawks in Atlanta?

Given recent shuttle history, should Houston change its mascot to "the Problems"?  Seems especially appropriate now that Artest is there.

Warriors in Golden State?  Given the peace-loving hippie slant to the state, I think not.

Kings in Sacramento?  Trailblazers in Portland? 

And thank goodness for the bailout, or else Detroit couldn't remain "the Pistons."

We don't have Lakers but I don't know if Los Angeles Rich People would actually help the Lakers remain popular all around the league.
